|||||||||||||
| The IOE 10 Electron Gun is a charge neutralisation gun with operation over a wide range of energies and currents. At maximum energy it delivers 10 microamps into 50 microns at 1000eV, while at minimum energy it gives 1 microamp into 1mm at 10eV. It is compact, fitting via a 35CF flange, and is variable in length to suit any port to sample distance. |

The electron gun controller uses an embedded processor to set voltages in the gun. This means that control can be either via the front panel or via a serial interface from a pc. All settings are displayed on the front panel, and up to eight sets of operating conditions an be saved. The IOE 10 comes equipped with pulsing, for TOF SIMS applications, and the beam can be steered in X and Y. |
