The Ionoptika FIBIMS is a compact PCI card which
combines a variable scan frame-grabber for real time display of
images and also a scan
controller for advanced machining operations.

The PCI card digital outputs and
the remote scan amplifier are opto-coupled allowing them to be
a long distance apart with no increase in noise.

A range of image sizes up to 1024 x 1024 can be acquired
into a 15 Bit analogue frame store channel for wide dynamic range.

Image magnification can be controlled
down to 10,000:1 and pixel dwell times selected between 2 microsecond
to 4 milliseconds.

A 64k x 64k machining DAC buffer
is provided for detailed step and repeat machining.

3D machining is supported via
grey scale machining from bitmap image files.

shapes such as image rotation, scaling and position on frame store
